Rate - €500 - €550 / day

IT Service Manager
An exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Service Manager to work within a large Government Organisation and be a part of the changing IT landscape within this organisation. We are offering long-term contracts, initially one year and the option to extend to 2+ years. You will be managing one or more applications which includes; people management (roughly 10 direct reports), strategic planning, managing internal and external stakeholders and budget management.
French or Dutch speaking
As an experienced IT Service Manager, you will be able to operate on both Strategic and Technical levels. You will;
-Have managed large Development teams
-Be able to implement and manage SLA's and the needs of both internal and external stakeholders
-Be able to ensure that future IT needs of the organisation are evaluated, planned and implemented on time
-Have defined and ensured that IT strategy is followed along with architectural principles, foundations and standards
-Have experience coordinating the development of new services (ideally in Java) and collaborate with IT architects, analysts, developers and testers
-Be able to have C-level conversations in French or Dutch
The role has been released due to some huge changes with the IT architecture of the applications managed internally within the organisation and provides a real challenge for the right person.
