I'm currently recruiting a Social Media Manager for a unique, market-leading creative communications agency.
The agency is made up of around 160 employees (in London) and includes people from a number of different career paths. This includes; social media, design, advertising, digital technical and direct. You'll get to work on some really interesting accounts as the agency have had some huge clients such as Google, Walls, Amstel, H&M and Airwaves. Something that I find really interesting about this agency is that everybody sits together, there is no divide between teams. As a result of this everyone is able to pool together and really get the 'creative juices' flowing!
This position could almost be looked at as a social-specific art director. It consists of; receiving briefs on client's goals and strategizing them, storyboarding, overseeing some community management and working closely with the production team and designers. You'll get plenty of plenty of creative freedom in this role as you have full management teams' work, before it is signed off by senior members of the design team.
The perfect candidate will have around 3 years' experience in social, have a full understanding of social channels & best practice and have outstanding creative skills due to the nature of the position. Agency experience is preferable however, it is not a must and if you are able to quickly learn how an agency operates you are likely to be considered.
The salary for this role is a maximum of £35,000.
