The Company:
Established for more than 20 years, my client are a well established digital mapping solution provider. Their solution assists organizations in improving their effectiveness by applying the geography of places, people and property. Their products and services offer a solution to every GIS need, for example: from allowing residents to access archaeological information online, enabling local authorities to centralize the storage of corporate data and by facilitating mobile network planners using digital maps and data. They cover numerous sectors and ‘verticals’ including: Local Government, Central Government, Emergency Services, Health and NHS, Logistics and Housing.

The Role:
This is a home based role, (SE based), covering the SE of England selling my clients full solution SW portfolio. Due to the role being home based, the successful candidate will be dynamic, hungry for success and earnings, highly skilled in solution sales, had good ‘solution sales’ training and perhaps they have benefited from working for a larger Enterprise themselves, e.g. IBM, Xerox, large Telco’s etc., then perhaps worked for a smaller co. related to GIS. This role carries uncapped earnings so I need a self-motivated and self-disciplined individual, very hungry for success and earnings and a self belief that they will exceed target and therefore OTE and become the No. 1 in the Co., and therefore out-earn the current highest earner. The role is 70% selling to Public Sector and 30% to Enterprise, hence ‘hybrid’. Whilst the role is 100% new business, an element of this business will come from lapsed/historic clients where previous spend has been minimal, as well as competitors to current Enterprise clients which include a significant number of the UK’s Top 500 companies., spanning ‘verticals’ such as: Banking, Finance, Insurance, Retail & Telco, amongst others. With regards to the Public Sector element of the role, Councils, NHS and PCT’s will make up a significant % of the target market.
