My client is one of the UK’s leading independent I.T. consultancies, specialising in delivering applications securely to their point of use. As a managed service provider and value added reseller my client provides an end-to-end service from analysis to design, delivery and support. My client is the business partner of choice for many customers across the mid market verticals and has an unparalleled reputation for quality service provision and of being pioneers in solutions for VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft and HP environments. With extensive experience of simplifying the desktop, standardising access and centralising infrastructure and management, my client has the skills, resources and experience to help organisations of every size. Recent investment in sales and marketing has resulted in outstanding sales growth and to further increase this growth, the company is now recruiting new Business Account Managers.

The Role:
The primary responsibility of the New Business Development Manager is to achieve target GP, and therefore we are looking for complete focus on achievement and delivery. Achieve personal and company revenue and margin targets by: • implementing regular campaigns to maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects • winning new business accounts namely mid market accounts • selling their full portfolio of products including virtualisation, unified comms, managed services and online desktop solutions • have support from an internal telemarketing team, but also expected to self generate leads and book own appointments • continuously nurturing existing accounts as allocated, so that no account development opportunities are missed • proposing marketing events, seminars and conferences and then executing through to completion • ensuring clear and strong understanding of our technology space, and maintaining partner product and service sales accreditation Produce accurate and timely information: • keep CRM systems up to date • sales reporting and forecasting as required

The Candidate:
The Essential qualities and experience: • Likable, hard working, and trustworthy team player • Self-motivated and independent, thrives in a competitive environment • Energetic, enthusiastic, always positive Proven IT sales experience: • Citrix/VMware/Microsoft / HP exposure (CCSP, VSP) in a sales capacity (ideally new business) • Reseller sales experience, ideally also managed services • Track record of working to and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets • Formally sales trained in one or more of TAS, Solution Selling, LAMP or similar • “C” level sales capability and track record • Minimum of 3 years unbroken sales success Ideal qualities and experience: • Experience in selling virtualisation, infrastructure, managed services, consultancy services, access and associated products and services across mid market vertical • Rolodex of personal contacts in-sector (ability to hit the road running) • Experienced in leading major consulting and services bids • Built and managed sales teams and delivered consistent over target performance in a solutions and consulting environment .
